Privacy Policy

Qalbi (“Qalbi”, “we”, “us”) is a free prayer-tracking app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We do not sell your data, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

Information we collect

When you create an account and use Qalbi, we collect:

• Account information: your email address and name, used for sign-in and your profile.
• Location: your device coordinates, used only to calculate accurate prayer times for your area. You can enter a city manually instead of sharing GPS.
• Prayer activity: the prayers you log (on time, late, missed, excused) and their dates, which power your streaks, statistics, and the Qalbi companion.
• An account identifier: a unique ID that links the above to your account.

Qalbi contains no third-party advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not collect any data for advertising or cross-app tracking.

How we use your information

Solely to provide the app's features:

• Authenticate you and keep you signed in.
• Calculate prayer times for your location.
• Save and display your prayer history, streaks, analytics, and reminders.

How your data is stored

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, our backend and database provider, which processes data on our behalf. All connections use HTTPS, and access is restricted to your own account through row-level security.

Notifications

Prayer reminders are scheduled locally on your device. We do not send marketing notifications.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only with the infrastructure provider required to operate the app (Supabase) and where required by law.

Your choices and rights

• Delete your account anytime in Settings → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account and all associated data.
• Location is optional: use manual city entry or disable location; prayer times can still be calculated from a city.
• Notifications can be turned off per prayer in Settings or in your device settings.

Children's privacy

Qalbi is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
